Fees
When you hire me, you’ll know exactly what you’re paying for and what to expect. I charge flat fees for every case I handle; no hourly billing, no surprise invoices, and no guessing where your money is going.
For most misdemeanor cases, traffic offenses, and probation revocations, you’ll pay one flat fee that covers the entire case from start to finish. That means you’ll never be billed for every phone call or email.
For felony cases, the fee is split into two parts: an initial flat fee that covers all pretrial work (meaning everything necessary to get your case resolved by a dismissal or a guilty plea), and then a separate trial fee that applies only if you decide to take your case to trial. Every case is unique, and the total cost depends on the complexity of your situation, the nature of the charges, and the amount of work involved.
The more serious the charge, or the more complicated the case, the more work that is involved and therefore, the higher the fee will be. Traffic offenses and misdemeanors are typically on the lower end while serious felonies and sex crimes are on the higher end.
Court costs, fines, and expenses such as investigators, experts, or court reporters are separate from attorney’s fees and are paid by you as they come up.
You’ll always know the price before I start working on your case. If you want to talk through your specific situation and get a clear idea of what your case will cost, contact my office today.
