Who I Am and
Why I Do This Work
You Deserve the Truth — And a Plan That Works
If you're facing criminal charges, you don't need someone to tell you what you want to hear. You need someone who’s honest with you — and who knows how to handle the system you're up against.
I’m Bryan C. Brown. I’m a criminal defense attorney who used to work as a felony prosecutor. I know how prosecutors think, what they look for, and where their cases fall apart. I spent years on the other side of the courtroom — now I use that knowledge to fight for people like you.
I’ve Been There, Too
Before law school, before the DA’s office — I was just a kid from Alabama found himself on the wrong side of the law
I was scared. I went to court. I paid the price. I learned from it.
I grew up in a trailer park. First in my family to go to college. I didn’t take the straight road to get here — but that experience shaped who I am as a person and a lawyer.
I don’t look down on the people I represent. I don’t treat anyone like a case file or a lost cause. I treat them like human beings who need help at one of the worst moments of their lives.

This Isn’t a Volume Practice — It’s a People Practice
I run my own firm. I don’t hand your case off to associates, and I’m not juggling 300 files. I keep my caseload low on purpose — because every client deserves focus, preparation, and a real shot at a better outcome.
When we meet, I’ll look you in the eye and tell you what I see. Then we’ll make a plan together. And if there’s a way forward — I’ll help you take it.
